Especially, Flume Gorge is one of the most unique places we have ever visited. So spectacular!!!

Mount Washington 2017

Mount Washington, called Agiocochook by some Native American tribes, is the highest peak in the Northeastern United States at 6,288.2 ft (1,916.6 m) and the most prominent mountain east of the Mississippi River. The mountain is notorious for its erratic weather. On the afternoon of April 12, 1934, the Mount Washington Observatory recorded a wind speed of 231 miles per hour (372 km/h) at the summit, the world record for most of the 20th century, and still a record for measured wind speeds not involved with a tropical cyclone. We drove to the top of the mountain through the auto road this time. It was quite an experience. We are going to visit the mountain again next summer and plan to do some serious hiking next time.

The Kancamagus Highway is a 34.5 mile scenic drive along NH’s Rt. 112 in Northern New Hampshire that is well known as one of the best Fall Foliage viewing areas in the country. The Kancamagus Highway is now designated an American Scenic Byway for its rich history, aesthetic beauty and culture. Even though the fall is the best season to visit the Kancamagus Highway, our summer trip there was quite amazing actually. However, we are going there again this fall just for a one day trip and expect to see a lot of red color.

Las Vegas 2017

This was the second time I visited Las Vegas. Different from last time, I was with my mother who had never been there before. Las Vegas was such a fabulous place and I insisted to take her there whenever we got a chance. She was so excited during the trip, and we took many many pictures. It is easy to get good pictures in places like Las Vegas, and we have so many stunning pictures that selecting which to be posted become very hard. Please enjoy these best ones.

Yellowknife 2017

Yellowknife is the capital and only city, as well as the largest community, in the Northwest Territories (NT or NWT), Canada. It is located on the northern shore of Great Slave Lake, approximately 400 km (250 mi) south of the Arctic Circle, on the west side of Yellowknife Bay near the outlet of the Yellowknife River. Tourism is the largest renewable industry in the NWT and Yellowknife is the main entry point for visitors. Many of these tourists come to experience the Northern climate and traditional lifestyle, as well as to see the Northern Lights. To capture the beauty of northern light, the camera must be good enough to endure the cold weather and should be able to take extremely long exposure shot.

It’s also home to hundreds of animal species, including bears, wolves, bison, elk and antelope. We spent 4 days in the park, but still felt that we could easily stay for another 10 days. There are too many wonderful spots to visit and is a true heaven to all photographers.

It’s a popular destination in summer for mountaineering, hiking, backcountry camping and fishing, linked to nearby Yellowstone National Park by the John D. Rockefeller, Jr. Memorial Parkway. Unfortunately, we spent only two days here and we didn’t get a chance to climb one of the mountains ourselves. The mountains are beautiful and look challenging. We are going to hike a lot next time we visit Grand Teton.
